Welcome to Mark & Jen's Website. Have a look
around!

Whistler
British Columbia - September 2007
Photos
We took a trip to Whistler with our friends Paul and
Gina for our last summer trip.
Our weeks activities included touring both Whistler
and Blackcomb villages, learning to geocache,
canoeing between Alta and Green Lake, and taking the
gondola to the top of Whistler mountain for a day
hike. The finale of our trip was the
Ziptrek Ecotour
which was a total of five ziplines, one of which was
2000 feet long and dropped over 20 stories!
Altogether it was a wonderful trip with great
friends and we look forward to it again someday.
Oregon Coast
Lincoln City & Florence - July 2007
Photos
Jen
and I decided to get a way for a few days and go
down the Oregon Coast. We originally wanted to
drive all the way down HWY 101 to California but we
decided that would have been too much driving so
instead we choose to just go as far as Florence
instead.
Lincoln City had the most to do so we were glad to
have stayed there a few days to explore. We
flew kites, visited the Alder House Glass Studio and
the
Mossy Creek
Pottery studio. We also found a
cool place to camp next time: the
Coyote Rock RV
Resort and Marina.
Florence didn't have as much to do. We
explored the town a bit and also spent a few hours
in the dunes on a pair of rented 250c sport quads.
We whipped it up a bit and therefore managed to get
stuck quite a few times. Jen also learned how
to roost and spin a donut.
Pittsburgh Steelers

Here is a compilation of the Steelers photos from
the 2005 and 2006 season.
We
prefer to watch the games at our house or a friends
but if the game isn't on TV we'll head to the local
Hooters to join the a local Steelers fan club:

Cabo San Lucas
Mexico - March 2007
Photos
We
traveled with my parents to the Cabo San Lucas - San
Jose del Cabo area and stayed in the Club Regina
resort. It was great! Eighty plus degree
weather right in the middle of winter! Add to
that free drinks at the pool everyday, sandy
beaches, racing dune buggies in the desert and you
can see why we had a good time.
It
was whale watching season as well so we were treated
to daily shows of whales breaching and slapping
their tales. It was cool.
We
also managed to get home with mucho tequila for our
tasting party!
Raleigh-Durham
Research Triangle, NC - January 2007
Photos
I
traveled to North Carolina to attend an IBM training
course. The training was great but in my off
time I got to check out the surrounding area.
The Research Triangle area is so named because it is
in the center of three major universities; Duke,
University of North Carolina, and North Carolina
State. I managed to visit all three campuses
though Duke was the only one I had much daylight to
look around.
Duke was pretty amazing as you can see from the
pictures. I managed to sneak into Cameron
Indoor Stadium to get a peek and take some pics.
It was awesome and I can see how crazy it gets in
there considering how small the place is.
Overall my favorite part of the trip was driving
through Chapel Hill, though it got dark before I
could get many pictures.
