Tillamook Trails - Part 2

After lunch we set off again.  The trail hooked sharp to the left into a steep descent and thinking that it was worse than it was, I swapped into the driver's seat.  Once we were down it I realized that it wouldn't have been any problem for Jen.  My bad!

Darryl later paired us up with Rob (silver-blue Jeep Commando) whose rig had open diffs front and rear so we'd be able to follow him.

Rob also knew the trails so wherever he went we faithfully followed.

After a couple tries Cecil was able to climb the tree stump.  Kids don't try this at home!

The trails got progressively harder as we progressed.  The last run was the best.  The mud and deep V-groves made it much more difficult than the previous trails.

A few of the rigs were running hot from the slow crawling so we stopped here and there and enjoyed the scenery while their rigs cooled off.

After the day of wheeling we headed back to camp for BBQ'd chicken.  Once again Darryl manned the grill.

After dinner we were headed to Sand Lake to play in the dunes.
